| San Diego Birding Festival 2008 This year's San Diego Birding Festival demonstrated once more that San Diego is one of the most underapreciated birding destinations in the nation. Great birds, great people, a really great area, and a really good time had by all at the Festival. Now in the third year under the guidance of San Diego Audubon, this was the best organized San Diego Festial in along time, and had the highest attendance in many years. Personally, I didn't get much digiscoping done this year. Things just didn't work out. The birds were there, but my time was limited.
